Early Easter

Our Easter this year was a little different than usual. The Easter Bunny must have heard that we would be out of town on Easter Sunday, so he made a special visit a day early.

We had been telling Christian that the Easter Bunny was going to come in the days leading up to Easter, and every time he would say "I don't want to see the Easter Bunny" or "The Easter Bunny not come to our house". I can't say I blame him...the concept would seem a little scary to a nearly-two year old. Mark didn't help the situation either...on Easter morning he went down to see if the Easter Bunny had come and pretended to chase him out of our house. But once Christian realized that the Easter Bunny had left gifts and treats, he got over his fears real fast.

Our celebration was short since we were leaving to California later that day, but we had so much fun seeing Christian's excitement. He is at such a fun age.
