So Long Sweet Summer...

It seems as though the seasons know just when to come and when to go. We all know the feeling of warmly welcoming a new season, just as the last one seems to get old. Mark and I have felt this welcomed excitement as we have walked in the brisk evening air and as we smell Summer fading and Fall beginning to creep into our senses.

Fall is our favorite season. Everything about it is peaceful, and beautiful. However, we must give summer a respectable farewell. It's been a great summer. We have loved every minute of NOT being in school and spending time together. For this reason, we must share our summer highlights before we can fully invite Fall to grace us with its presence.

Our first highlight was celebrating our first wedding anniversary!We spent the night in Salt Lake eating fine cuisine, window shopping, and going to a movie. We also spent Friday and Saturday visiting the Parade of Homes. We loved it and had so much fun getting great ideas for the future!

We also had the opportunity to go to The Stadium of Fire with Mark's family on the fourth of July!




We spent time with my family at the cabin. We loved four wheeling and Mark and Thomas were excellent fishermen.







We even went camping!





As you can see, we have loved every minute! So now we can officially say "So long Summer!" and "Welcome Fall!" We are excited to continue making memories as the seasons change.
