This is Halloween!

It's a bird, it's a plane...
It's SUPERMAN!!
We had an AWESOME Halloween, and thanks to our good friend Kimberly Aldrich  we have some amazing pictures to remember it! (see more of our cute superhero @ kimberlyaldrichphoto.com)

This was Christian's second Halloween, and it's incredible how much more he understood this year, making our holiday SO much fun and something I will never forget; His chubby little legs in those tights...the way he pranced around with his cape flying behind him...the way he gripped his Trick-or-Treat bucket that was almost as big as he is...his little diaper-filled underwear...I seriously couldn't get enough of my little superman.

Not to mention, my big superman... or Clark Kent, I should say.
Of course, Halloween can't just be one day, so we celebrated over several days. Starting with our Ward Trunk-or-Treat.
(Both counselors in the bishopric, Mark & Marc, both Clark Kent...Totally Unplanned)
Great minds think alike!
(Lois Lane, Clark Kent, and Superman)
(Batman & Robin, Superman)

Christian caught on to the the whole Trunk-or Treat thing pretty quick, and ended up with a pretty good stash! (Which mom and dad have been helping him with.)

We also celebrated Halloween by carving pumpkins and having a delicious Sunday dinner with Mark's family.
 (Keeping with the Superman theme)
 (Mark's Dragon)
On the actual day of Halloween, I took Christian to see the costume parade at the elementary school where my mom teaches. He loved watching all of the kids, but of course our favorite costume was Grandma's!
The rest of the evening was spent with family, eating delicious chili, cornbread, and homemade rootbeer, followed by some trick-or-treating, and a little more eating. All in all it was a Halloween success.
 Happy Halloween!!
